These terms and conditions apply to the Sonic marketing activation “Fold and throw your paper plane” at EQUIP AUTO 2025 in Paris (hereinafter: “the promotion”)

1. Summary of the promotion

Visitors to the Sonic stand at EQUIP AUTO 2025 can join the paper plane promotion. By registering their details and folding a paper plane, participants have one chance to throw the plane into a transparent box on top of a Sonic toolbox. If the paper plane lands inside the box, the participant automatically has a chance to win the grand prize of a Sonic NEXT S9 toolbox with a 363-piece toolset. If the plane misses, the participant can choose a promotional item like a pen or key cord while stocks last.

2. Participation

Participation is open to persons aged 18 and older who visit the Sonic stand at EQUIP AUTO 2025 in Paris. To join, visitors must fill in their name and email address by scanning the QR code at the stand. By doing so, they automatically subscribe to the Sonic newsletter and must confirm their subscription through a double opt in. After signing up, participants fold a paper plane and write their name and email address on it. Each participant has one chance to throw the paper plane into the transparent box from behind the marked line. Each visitor may participate only once and each email address can be used only once. A Sonic host may refuse participation if a visitor attempts to join more than once. Participation is free of charge, except for any costs for internet access or communication.

3. Promotion period

The promotion takes place from 14 October 2025 until 18 October 2025 during the EQUIP AUTO 2025 tradeshow in Paris. The grand prize raffle will be held at the Sonic stand on 18 October 2025 at the end of the tradeshow, and entries are valid only if submitted during the event.

4. Prizes and draw

The grand prize consists of one Sonic NEXT S9 toolbox filled with a 363-piece toolset. Participants whose plane misses the box can choose a promotional item such as a Sonic pen or key cord, while stocks last. At the end of EQUIP AUTO 2025, a Sonic host will randomly draw one paper plane from the transparent box to select the winner of the grand prize. The host will draw blindfolded and the winner will be contacted by email if not present at the draw. The grand prize will not be handed out immediately at the stand. Sonic will arrange a delivery appointment. The grand prize is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Privacy

By participating, entrants consent to Sonic collecting and processing their details in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Sonic will use the information provided to contact participants about relevant products and services. Participants can unsubscribe from these communications at any time. 6. Other provisions

Sonic reserves the right to modify or end the promotion at any time if circumstances require, without being liable for any compensation. Incomplete or incorrect entries may be declared invalid. Any taxes, levies, or additional costs related to the prize are the responsibility of the winner. Sonic is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from participation in the promotion unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of Sonic.
