Nestaan MX
Where success really begins
At the highest level of motocross, success is only partly visible on race day. For Nestaan MX, it starts long before the gate drops. It begins in the workshop, in the routines, and in the way the team prepares every detail behind the scenes.
“We always try to improve in every area we can. That approach really is part of our DNA,” says team manager Rasmus Jorgensen.
When the team was founded in 2019, everything had to be built from scratch. The workshop in Lommel, now the heart of the operation, started as an empty space.
“We didn’t have one tool or one fuel canister. We had to really start from zero. It was a massive project.”
From day one, the focus was clear: create an environment that supports performance. The layout, the workflow, and the level of organization all had to contribute to one goal; to improve every day.
“I often call this place the hospital. It needs to stay clean and professional. This improves efficiency and helps minimize mistakes.”
A structured setup became essential. Not just to stay organized, but to work faster, reduce errors, and stay in control as the team grew.
As the team expanded and began competing at the highest level, the demands increased. With twenty races across the world, including overseas, preparation became more complex and more critical.
Equipment is shipped globally, while the workshop continues to operate at full speed. In that environment, consistency is everything.
Sonic supports that consistency. With a clear and organized setup, tools are always within reach and workflows stay uninterrupted. Mechanics can focus fully on their work, knowing everything is exactly where it needs to be.
“In the end, the mechanics play a massive role in what we do. We rely on their way of working, because our riders depend on these bikes being reliable.”
That attention to detail has paid off. Over the past years, the team has grown into one of the most successful in the paddock, with multiple GP wins and championship titles.
In 2024, they reached a new level, finishing first and second in the championship and winning sixteen out of twenty GPs.
But for Rasmus, success is not just measured in results.
“If you have a strong team that keeps the atmosphere and spirit high during tough times, then you know you have brought together a strong group of people.”
Whether in victory or in setbacks, the mindset remains the same: keep improving.
“You will never be fully satisfied and you always strive to do better.”
From an empty workshop to the top of the podium, Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing has built its success on what happens behind the scenes.
Because in the end, races are won long before race day.
